New Magazine Launch!

Hello! First post. I know, I know. Who even blogs anymore?

But I did want to write a little something about a special project my friends and I have put together.

It’s a film and art magazine called Layered Butter. The first issue is more than 80 pages full of breathtaking art and some hot takes (one of which was written by yours truly).

To give you a little back story to how this came together, you have to know something about me. One of my first jobs (that I actually enjoyed) was working at a movie theatre in Misssissauga, Ontario. It was easy, it was fun, but most importantly I met some amazing people.

One of these great people is Andrew Perucho. We’ve been friends for more than a decade now and we’ve chatted about variations of this idea for a while now. The stars have finally aligned and here we are.

Andrew and some of his connections have reached out to film-loving artists and commissioned some beautiful work for the issue. I’ve handled the editing of all the written copy.
